President Donald Trump has once again said something that will leave Leftists and their globalist accomplices squirming.
Standing before a room filled with construction-related tradesmen and union members attending the 2017 North America’s Building Trades Union legislative conference on April 4, President Trump felt at home with the people who are, what he called, the very talented “backbone of America”.
Breibart reports that the crowd warmly welcomed the President especially when he said the following, “I’m not, and I don’t want to be the president of the world. I’m the president of the United States, and from now on it’s going to be America first.”
It is a significant departure from the transnationalism of Obama who felt compelled upon taking office to travel to Egypt and apologize for all of America’s perceived sins.
President Trump went on to praise those gathered before him.
“Standing before me today, in this very hall, are the men and women who if given the chance can transform these communities. You are the citizens who can rebuild our cities, revive our industries, and renew our beloved country and I know you will stop at nothing to get the job done.”
Telling the crowd that they had a fellow builder in the White House, Trump promised them that the “era of economic surrender is over.”
The applause and cheers were a brilliant contrast to the empty and duplicitous words Obama always offered on helping to bring and keep jobs in the United States.
