Tensions have been rising dramatically between the U.S. and North Korea over the past few weeks. Now, it appears these tensions have reached a boiling point.

This isn’t good…

Donald Trump has issued a chilling warning to North Korea boasting that his U.S. military forces are building – and taunting that they are “rapidly becoming stronger than ever before”.

The US President posted a series of tweets this afternoon that will likely do little to quell the tensions mounting in the North Pacific over the communist country’s nuclear and missile programmes.

As his strike force of warships closes in on the communist state, Trump tweeted: “Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before.

“Frankly, we have no choice!”

Trump failed to mention Korea directly – but the issue of Kim Jong-un’s increasing show of strength over this weekend, with his military openly conducting training exercises and a failed missile launch, has made it his No.1 problem over and above those with Syria, Russia and Afghanistan.

But there was a hint – albeit made via social media – that he was at least getting some assistance on the world stage from unlikely ally China.

Two hours earlier – before wishing everyone a “Happy Easter!” – he tweeted: “Why would I call China a currency manipulator when they are working with us on the North Korean problem?

“We will see what happens!”
