It is a clear rebuttal to the as yet unsubstantiated accusations against Fox News legend Bill O’Reilly that he sexually and/or verbally assaulted employees.
The hysteria has prompted some lawmakers to forget about a core principal of our legal system: innocent until proven guilty.
On MSNBC, Democrat lunatic Maxine Waters said that O’Reilly “needs to go to jail.” That’s right, no trial, just jail. Her rationale?
“It shouldn’t be in America that you can sexually harass women and then buy your way out of it because you’re rich,” Waters mentally struggled to say. Isn’t that discrimination on her part?
The Independent Journal Review wrote that O’Reilly issued a statement on April 1 that said, in part:
“Just like other prominent and controversial people, I’m vulnerable to lawsuits from individuals who want me to pay them to avoid negative publicity. In my more than 20 years at Fox News Channel, no one has ever filed a complaint about me with the Human Resources Department, even on the anonymous hotline.”
Those jumping on the anti-O’Reilly bandwagon were jolted in their ride by a brilliant slap-down given by Fox on April 5.
Conservative Fighters and some mainstream media sources are confirming that the O’Reilly Factor was “just been re-upped at the network.” So much for destroying O’Reilly.
The O’Reilly Factor host’s attorney, Fredric S. Newman, also gave fans good news, saying that “We are now seriously considering legal action to defend Mr. O’Reilly’s reputation,” according to WNP Journal.
This whole attack might just blow up in the faces of the Left.
