A man has been arrested for shooting four people dead at a rural bar in Mississippi.
Daily Mail reported that Briddell Barber, 27, was apprehended at around 1am on Monday morning by U.S. Marshals. He has since been charged with the murders of Edward Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Jerrandan Allen, and Gabriel Townsend, who were all killed outside Club 66 in Yazoo City, Mississippi.
Police Chief Andrew Loyd reported that the incident at the bar began when one of the victims said he would give Barber’s girlfriend a ride home. This angered Barber, and an argument ensued. Eventually, Barber opened fire, and two of his victims died at the scene. The other two passed away after being rushed to the hospital.
Barber has also been charged with a homicide from March of 2016 when he shot and killed a 25-year-old Justin Jamel Porter.
