Congressman Lewis Attacks Trump — IMMEDIATELY Regrets It

For thirty years Democrat Representative John Lewis has been do nothing constructive in Congress, relying on his marching in Civil Rights protests back in the 1960s to inert occupation of his seat.

From his seat in Congress, one that by now holds the form of Lewis’ long planted ass, the grumbling politician has issued false accusation after false accusation. Breitbart has a list if you are interested.

In an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd on April 16, Lewis vacated his chair long enough to plant himself before the cameras in another chair, where he repeated the Leftist mantra that Donald Trump was not a ‘legitimate’ President.

ENV News Daily reports that the President called Lewis a ‘do nothing’ congressman. Appearing on Fox with host Chris Wallace, Vice President Mike Pence was asked if Trump’s comments attacking a Civil Rights icon were appropriate.

Pence replied, “I think Donald Trump has the right to defend himself. When someone of John Lewis’ stature, someone who is not only an icon in the civil rights movement but also someone who by virtue of his sacrifice on that day that we know as Bloody Sunday, he crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge and it was through that the Voting Rights Act itself – for someone of his stature to use terms like, ‘this is not a legitimate president. And I hope he reconsiders.”

It was a classy answer that acted as a velvet covering to Trump’s steely hammer. Both men put Lewis on notice: such rhetoric is below you and dishonors your legacy.

Lewis better listen.
